We have a really slow motor-sail day from Cojo Anchorage to Santa Barbara and then another slow motor-sail day over to Santa Cruz Island. Santa Cruz Island was pretty magnificent with spawning sardines lighting up the biolum organisms in the water. I even saw a sea lion swimming through glowing waters. Passing a fix net through the water resulted in a wizards hat and splashing water from a bucket made quite a little light show. It was quite a psychodelic experience. Then we had another slow motor-sail day to Oxnard and another slow day down to Santa Monica. All the while strong winds were forecast and nothing ever showed up! Our last day we were treated to dolphins riding out bow which was really cool.
